Of course, the real controversy still exists: Did The Whitehouse retaliate against Plame because her husband publicly reported evidence that subverted The Administration's justification for going to war? Did The Administration knowingly present false information to Congress to (at least in part)justify the war? If the answer is yes, it could be one of the most egregious crimes ever committed by a sitting president.
