Student of Old Egypt identifies mysterious kings Hyksos.
The Hyksos would be fundamentally proto-Greek or Myceneans, according to recent linguistic discoveries. Maria Fernández-Valmayor (SAIS) Madrid. Febrero-2006. http://www.antiquos.com # Tags: atico, avaris, doricos, egipto, eolicos, hicsos, hykoussos, hyksos, jonico, jonios, micenicos, minoicos, proto-griegos. http://www.ancientworlds.net/aworlds_media/ibase_1/00/05/40/00054069_000.gif
Reconstruction of a fresh minoan of Avaris, capital of the Hyksos in Egypt (http://www.ancientworlds.net)
Georgeos Diaz-Montexano, scriptologist and Egyptologist amateur, has been able to identify the names of the Hyksos kings like pertaining to the group of languages and proto-Greek or Mycenaean's dialects.
The true ethnic origin of the mysterious Hyksos that were able to take control of the power of a considerable part of Old Egypt, during centuries XVII to the XVI before Christ, has been always a true challenge for the Egyptologists. However, the generalized opinion more for a long time has been that the Hyksos would be Semitic towns, fundamentally coastal inhabitants of the strip Syrian-Palestine, that is, Canaanites or proto-Phoenicians. Nevertheless, as it indicates Diaz-Montexano, to date an identification had not been made signs or solid of each one of the names of the Hyksos kings according to the data contributed by Manetho in its chronicle of Egypt; in fact, as soon as only two of the six names of Hyksos kings mentioned by this Egyptian amanuenses have been able to relate approximately - to other two names of Semitic origin. Diaz-Montexano now has been able to identify with a greater degree of approach the six names of the Hyksos kings, and their equivalent almost exact ones exactly were in proto-Greek Indo-European dialects that were conserved until the times of archaic and classic Greece, although these had surprising not been detected before by no specialist Egyptologist nor in old languages. The names of kings Hükoussos. As far as the names of kings Hükoussôs or Hyksos (as usually they are called in Hispanic Literature), we see first that they tell the medieval Greek codices us that they affirm to be text copies written originally by Egyptian priest Manetho, who in Hispanic Literature we know like Manetho. According to these codices written in Greek medieval, kings Hükoussôs would be, Salitis (or Saitis), Bnôn, Apakhnan (or Pakhnan), Apopis, Iannas, Staan, Asêth or Assis, Arkhlên, and Aphôphi ; according to the two main versions, Africanus and Manetho. These names of Hyksos kings - according to Manetho- they have been identified with the Egyptian kings 3rk (Salitis), Jppj (Apôpis), Y3n ( Iannas, Staan) e Jppj I (Aphophi). Whereas Bnôn, Apakhnan or Pakhnan, Asêth and Arkhlên not yet have been identified of safe way with no known Egyptian king. As far as the ethnic origin of these Egyptian kings registered by Manetho, from the philological point of view, a pair of approximate identifications with other names pertaining to the Hebrew language has only seted out, these are Salitis with Shallit ('governor') and Bnôn with bnô ('its son'). Nevertheless, Georgeos Diaz-Montexano has been able to identify all the names of the Hyksos kings with Indo-European names that conserved until several centuries after the dynasties of the Hyksos in languages and Greco-Latin archaic dialects like Latin the Dorian and the Ionian.
http://www.ancientworlds.net/aworlds_media/ibase_1/00/05/40/00054068_000.gif The identification with Indo-European names. According to Diaz-Montexano Salitis one corresponds with the Latin Salîtis. Saliti-s can be translated like "the Jumps, dancer" or "the one of the Jumps", "the dancer or dancer". These translations remember the found Minoan representations of "Jumps-Dancer" in the city of the delta of the Nile, identified like Avaris, the capital of the Hyksos. In his structure, nevertheless, one corresponds with other Greek own names equally finished in -itis as they are: Mel-itis (of Meli "honey"), Pol-itis (of Polis," city"), Phil-itis (of Philos, "loved"), reason why Salitis , also could be translated like" the one that shakes ", "the agitator", "the one that makes shake" (rename similar to the used ones to denominate to Poseidôn), of Sali/Salai/Salê "commotion, shock". As far as the variant of Salitis, registered like Saites, it could be the pronunciation of the Egyptian word Sti that appears in the name of tA-sti like denomination of the country of the HkA-HAswt (Hyksos). Sti, literally seems to mean "arrow" (to see the similarity with the Castilian word 'saeta', presumably of Indo-European origin), that judging by its more frequent and simplified hieroglyphic, it is a "arrow crossing a skin of a quadruped"; by extension it appears like denomination of a type of "arc" of foreign origin and like determinative of "foreigners". The name of king Bnôn would correspond with the Greek name Bnon (variant Beon) = Pneôn of the Greek Pneô "blowing (of wind, air), breath, to breathe"; registered in the Homer's old Ionian. Apakhnan one would correspond with Greek the archaic Apakhnan; "it freezes", registered in the lexicons Dorian and Aeolian. A-pakhnan, would be translated, either as "without frost", "freezing or coagulation", or as "the one of frosts, frosts, freezing or coagulations". Another interpretation - as valid as the previous one would be Apakhnan, composed of 'apo' - like privative more akhnazô, "miserable, pain". Apakhnan would be translated then like "the one that will not be miserable", "the one that will not feel pain (nor mercy)". Apophis {vars.: Aphophis , archaic Aphobis} = Greek (Ionian and Aeolian) "Ap'ophis" (by apocopate of apo, before vowel), "the one that separates (or moves away) from the serpent"; "of (originating of) Ophis ["(Land) of the Serpent"], or simply "the one of the Serpent". In case the correct form is the Aphobis variant , this name could be translated through the Greek Aphobia/Aphobos: "without" Audacious, Reckless, brave, intrepid "fear". Staan one would correspond with Greek the archaic Staan, "to be unemployed, quiet, signs, stable". Iannas it could be a proto-Greek or Mycenaean form contract similar to Iaones or Ionian. The translation could be "from Ionian", or "of the Ionians". The form of the Ian-nas name corresponds - in its morphology with typical forms of Greek Dorians old voices, Aeolians and also Ionians, like Ban-nas, Gen-nas, Kon-nas, Hun-nas, Nan-nas, Puthan-nas, San-nas, Sôkan-nas, Thun-nas and Phan-nas . Arkhlên they would correspond with the forms Arkhlên de Arkhles = Arche-la_os, "a leader of the town, a head, a captain, governor". The variants are known following Greek names: Archela, Archelaïs, Archelas, Archelaïos, Archelaos and Archeleôs .
Assis = would correspond with Greek the archaic Assis = asson (Doric Assion), "approach", specially relative to the "hostile approach"; but also "substance, essence, nature of something, purity". Assis appears registered in the archaic Greek anthroponomy next to other own Greek "...These names only appear registered in the oldest dialects of the Greek, which does not seem no chance. If my hypothesis arrives to be accepted by the experts in Greek philology and Indo-European, in the names of kings Hyksos de Manetho we would have a testimony of the older Indo-European forms known these names that later superlived in the Doric's and Aeolian Greek dialects. Dialects that are considered already existed at the same time of the Dynasties of the Hyksos... I probably think that the Hyksos could be proto-Greek Indo-European towns, of Minoico-Mycenean origin, and this would explain the considerable amount of found evidences of this civilization in Avaris... ". - Diaz Montexano comments. Note: next the complete article with bibliography specialized in a Egyptology vestibule will be published.

The world could use more dialogue about its differences — a little understanding goes a long way. There are many online forums where people with different perspectives yell at each other and hurl abuse. There aren't so many where completely different points of view are expressed rationally and constructively. That's why The World Forum was created.
