4 Big Waves of Job Loss and Dropping US Birth Rate

This started out as a comment on the post "Immigration and Wage Supression", but it grew into it's own story.
The birth rate of US citizens is dropping so low that we will soon not be able to replace ourselves.
1st Big Wave of Job Loss
The widespread use of containerized shipping (you know the big steel crates on the back of trucks, trains, and piled on top of ships) reduced the cost of international shipping so low that it became cheaper to make things at slave wages in China and ship it to the USA than it was to make it in the USA. This resulted in the first big wave of job loss in the USA due to Globalization. (Read Globalization as Unfair Trade due to China's manipulated currency exchange rate.) 2nd Big Wave of Job Loss NAFTA created more Unfair Trade. It allowed factories to move just barely south of our border and then ship products right back into the USA. There was no valid economic reason to pay the extra transportation cost except that corruption and oppression in Mexico kept their wages extremely low. NAFTA made the USA pay for Mexican corruption and oppression with our 2nd Big Wave of Job Loss. 3rd Big Wave of Job Loss The politicians said: Don't worry. We will always have our intellectual jobs. Fiber optic cable and satellite transmission made international communication so inexpensive that our intellectual jobs have been exported to India. If you need a computer technician, or a programmer, or a lawyer, just call India. This was our 3rd Big Wave of Job Loss. 4th Big Wave of Job Loss One computer engineer in the USA asked his father to join him to start a lawn mowing company. Dad asked why would the computer engineer throw away his education and start a lawn mowing service. The engineer replied "They can't export the lawns to India." Well, surprise! When politicians could not export the lawns, they imported illegal aliens to take that job too. Millions of low-wage illegal aliens have cause our 4th Big Wave of Job Loss. Job Loss and Low Birth Rate USA birth rate went way down. The "experts" say women are just waiting longer to have kids. Right, but why? It is simple; the jobs that supported young couples are gone in the 4 Big Wave s of Job Loss. Now Politicians say we need to import more illegal aliens to breed children to keep our birth rate up. These politicians have no shame. Now they want illegal aliens to have sex and raise their families because US citizens have been exploited out of our jobs and families. Social Security The politicians also say we need fast breeding illegal aliens to grow children so they will pay into Social Security for us. The truth is that the USA has become the retirement capital of the world. Huge numbers of illegal aliens invade the USA at the end of their work life just to retire on our Social Security. Thanks to our politicians, huge numbers of US citizens cannot work, cannot have children, and cannot retire. Advertisement
The world could use more dialogue about its differences — a little understanding goes a long way. There are many online forums where people with different perspectives yell at each other and hurl abuse. There aren't so many where completely different points of view are expressed rationally and constructively. That's why The World Forum was created.
