 Zyprexa RICO Lawsuit
Through a complex series of illegal rackets and lies,Eli Lilly drug company built a multi-billion dollar drug enterprise

Judge Jack Weinstein denounces Eli Lilly. *There is some merit to the allegation that Lilly exaggerated the utility of the drug both on and off-label and de-emphasized its dangers in order to support an excessive price. Evidence of defendants alleged failure to disclose its products side effects, its violation of obligations of transparency  and its deliberate encouragement of off-label use permits but just barely a jury finding of liability under RICO *

Eli Lilly Zyprexa RICO Lawsuit
...Through a complex series of illegal rackets and lies, Eli Lilly drug company built a multi-billion dollar drug enterprise at the expense of taxpayers, consumers and patient lives".
Zyprexa remains on the market in the United States and more than 80 other countries. About 30 state attorneys general have subpoenaed documents detailing Lilly's sales practices for Zyprexa as part of a civil investigation under state consumer protection laws.

This Judge is what 83 years old? I don't think he will stand for stonewalling Lilly causing him any embarrassment. He is famous for his handling of the 911 payout cases with Godspeed.

Another thing, where is the proof of Lilly's fame/claimed $1.2 billion payout? They have not paid my claim yet!

The world could use more dialogue about its differences — a little understanding goes a long way. There are many online forums where people with different perspectives yell at each other and hurl abuse. There aren't so many where completely different points of view are expressed rationally and constructively. That's why The World Forum was created.

It should be no surprise to anyone that the major pharmaceutical companies do not have the public interest as a priority.  Their main interest is profits.  As a corporation they are required by law to produce a profit for their shareholders.  There is no problem here.  The problem arises when public health is compromised to reach this end.  Lily is not the first to sacrifice human lives for money, nor will they be the last.  We must continue to be diligent in protecting people against this horrible practice.
